Personal Essay- Leeds School of Business Scholarship Application I am a second semester freshmen pay major, acquiring the quantitative finance certificate as well as a youngster in applied math and economics. Growing up in Dallas, Texas, with a forceful fascination for business, I always knew that I belonged in the Leeds School of Business. Neither of my parents had att abolished college, but our rattling close family friends had a strong lineage of Buffs in their family. I had always been drawn to the business civilize and it does not blockade to impress me. In my first semester at Leeds, I was accustomed the opportunity to be a part of Leeds Council and at the end of that semester I was honored with a seat on the administrator board as Vice President of Clubs. As VP of Clubs, I aim for full integration of Leeds clubs and in doing so I arrange meetings with club council monthly to allow for suggestions to better the schools extracurricular activities and I conduct funding indicate hearings. I was also inducted into Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional fraternity, in my first semester, where as a pledge I served as the Community Service Committee head.

I set up an event called Lunch Box Load Up where we make over one hundred sack luncheones out of donated lunch components from the fraternitys members and delivered them to the Boulder Homeless Shelter. I was afterwards given a position on the pledge squad as pledge ambassador where I assist in running meetings and double as a pledge aggroup secretary. Recently, I was appointed as an analyst for Global atomic number 78 Securities, a student run investment company. This company has nearly 5-10 analysts that attend each of Harvard University, Georgetown University, London School of Economics, Massachusetts institute of Technology, New York University, University of Dayton, University of Pennsylvania and The University of Colorado.
