There are a lot of aspects to look at on the two consoles, but I will be stress mainly on the hardware aspect. As an owner of both systems, I am capable of comparing the two with truth and an unbiased opinion. Both consoles have each of their own desexualize of flaws, but one seems to get out on head pure tone-wise. The hardware of the PlayStation 3 is different from that of the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 contains a DVD disc drive, which means it can read games in the DVD format. The unused disc format called Blu-ray, is a much higher gauge disc than the DVD. Blu-ray can hold over twice the measuring of information that the DVD can which means better quality graphics and smoother video quality. The Xbox cannot read Blu-ray discs. The PlayStation 3 on the other hand, has a Blu-ray reader. This means that it can read not only Blu-ray, but DVD’s as well. This lay down the PlayStation 3 the extra edge with graphics and video quality over the Xbox 360. The control for the PlayStation 3 is also better quality.
The Xbox 360 controller takes two AA batteries, whereas the PlayStation 3 controller has a chargeable, built-in bombing. When the AA batteries die, the substance abuser has to stop and replace them to prevent playing. But for the PlayStation 3 controller, when the battery dies the user must simply plug it in and keep playing. This makes it the better quality controller. Aside from the controllers, the wireless capabilities matters too. With the PlayStation 3, connecting to the internet is as easy as having access to it. It has a built in wireless router that allows it to connect to an internet modem quickly and easily. This is more comfortable than the Xbox 360.
