Abstract
Gender differences in hand process were examined in an observational study. Male and female college students were observed on an individual basis to determine whether a specific gender is more plausibly to dullables their pass on after using the wash room. The observations were conducted in the colleges communal restrooms. The researchers recorded their observations from within bathroom stalls. Results showed that women wash their reach significantly more often after using the restroom than men do. The results can help increase hand washing rates in a college setting, increase public health and reduce spread of infection.
