To Eat or Not to Eat, That is up to the Research
Lately, the local fare movement is a strong penury for individuals when deciding w here(predicate) to purchase their produce, and as I ambled my way fling off grangers market, I could easily see wherefore. It was Saturday afternoon, and I was craving fresh grapes from the local farmers in The Village. Considering it was about 1:30, the crowd had dispersed leaving behind a quiet, peaceful setting. The few customers that were left indulged in conversations with the sellers, smiles lit across their faces. about of the merchants were already shutting down their stands, so I quickened my gait past the rows of produce. Their colors were vibrant and mouthwatering, and almost every farmer met my desirous eyes with a friendly smile. I stop at a stand with juicy deep proud grapes and asked for a sample.
We use no pesticides, and our farm is right here in Santa Maria, declared the farmer proudly. The grape was delicious, and it perfectly satiate my craving.
Ill take two pounds, I responded. As I walked towards my car, grapes in hand, I had benefitted to buying my food locally, something in which I strongly believe.
Not only does the food taste amazing, precisely there are important underlying factors as to why we, in San Luis Obispo County, should purchase our food locally.
