Methadone: A Very Dangerous Drug
While serving in the maritimes, my late husband crushed several vertebrae and fractured his hip. He was constantly in severe pain, and an operation would not cure his problems. He was eventually put on a pain guidance system and started taking Methadone. This medication is known as a drug to replace heroin addiction, and is not known widely as a pain medication.



Unfortunately, we did not do ample research about methadone before he was abandoned to the medication. He started taking more medication until he would snuff it out of the medication and go into seizures from the withdrawal symptoms. We disc overed over time that this medication is more addictive than heroin or methamphetamines. The withdrawal symptoms alone can kill the patient and wherefore the patient have to slowly taper off this medication. one(a) morning he was deeply asleep and snoring, and I supposition he was finally getting a full rest, and I left him alone.
